Professionals who wish to continue their education and attain that long-awaited degree will find these courses provide skills that are immediately applicable in the workplace. This core curriculum gives access to a career-oriented and academically excellent program guided by professional online faculty who are practitioners in their field. Accelerated 8-week courses totally online are convenient, flexible and help learners prepare for careers in business management, non-profit management, and public management.

Succeeding in the Online Environment

To get you started off on the right foot, we have also created an introductory, non-credit Student Success course that will prepare you for the online learning environment and introduce you to various time management and planning tools. The course also serves as an assessment tool that will help you create an individualized learning plan before you begin your degree. As part of the course, you will:

  • Assess your learning style, thereby deciding which class activities will help you best master the content
  • Determine your readiness for online learning, based on your own personal lifestyle factors, technical skills, time management methods and study techniques
  • Identify ways to positively tackle potential areas of challenge
  • Develop a success plan that is custom-made for you
