Dr. Tina J. Parscal, M.S.S., Ph.D., Director of Education and Professional Studies Programs

Dr. Tina Parscal is the Director of Education and Professional Studies Program. In this role she will direct the faculty, curriculum organization and development; and ensure academic quality for the education and professional studies programs. Prior to joining CSU-Global Campus she served as an Associate Professor and Assistant Director of Distance Education in Regis University's College for Professional Studies. In that role, she was responsible for online faculty development and evaluation, ensuring quality online teaching and learning, as well as teaching in the School of Education and Counseling. Prior to her time at Regis, Dr. Parscal served as the Academic Dean for the International School of Information Management. She is a proven leader in online instructional design and was instrumental in developing the systems, standards, policies and support infrastructure for the faculty teaching in online and blended-learning environments. She has consulted internationally on distance learning, online instructional design, and online facilitation and has published in the areas of online teaching and learning, ethics in online teaching, online faculty development, and cognitive apprenticeship strategies for online learning. Dr. Parscal holds a Ph.D. in Education with a specialization in Instructional Design for Online Learning and a Master of Social Sciences.
