Accreditation
The CSU System institutions have applied to their accrediting organization, The Higher Learning Commission, North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (NCA), for approval to offer accredited degree programs through CSU-Global Campus. NCA will be sending a team to CSU-Global Campus on September 8-9, 2008 to evaluate the request. We anticipate a decision from the Commission on the accreditation of degree programs offered through CSU-Global Campus in early 2009.
Any credits earned through CSU-Global Campus prior to Commission approval will count toward your degree program at CSU-Global Campus. The transferability of credits earned through CSU-GC to other institutions will usually depend on the receiving colleges or universities curricular and degree requirements, the equivalency of earned courses to those offered by the recipient college or university, and the student's academic performance in the transfer courses.
